How this blog began:

I have had a homeschooling blog for quite sometime: Home Sweet Home School.
In the last couple months God has really been working in my heart in response to my plea for him to help me to deny self and for Him to truly become my pearl.
I began sharing what God was doing in my heart in regards to modesty, femininity and truly finding my identity in Christ alone on my homeschooling blog. As the subject matter was continuing to veer away from homeschooling, I decided to create "Making Jesus my Pearl" as a place to share about my journey in seeking to find my identity 100% in Christ.
